Five members of baseball named academic all-OAC

By Andrew Korba

Five members of the Ohio Northern baseball team were named Academic All-OAC in voting done by the league's 10 faculty advisors.

Seniors Patrick Collins, Kevin Obarski and Austin Price, junior Brian Thomas and sophomore Derek Lenardos all earned the honor.

This is the first honor for all five players.

Collins, a finance major, made four appearances this season on the mound.

He pitched 2.2 innings, striking out one batter and not walking anybody.

Obarski posted his best season at the plate, finishing with a .316 batting average.
