Bulldog tennis singles lead team past Upper

UPPER SANDUSKY–The Ada High School tennis team went on the road and defeated Upper Sandusky 3-2 Monday evening, May 8.

Ada won all three singles matches to post the team victory. 

Hardin County H2Ohio Update

H2Ohio is water quality plan to reduce harmful algal blooms, improve wastewater infrastructure, and prevent lead contamination.

Update from HARDIN SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT:

As we wind down on the first round of H2Ohio, we have learned and grown a lot. We are beginning to prepare for round two of H2Ohio enrollment. Round two of enrollment will be open to all Hardin County producers.

United Way of Hardin County Board elects new officers

KENTON— At their April meeting, the Board of Directors of the United Way of Hardin County held their annual reorganization meeting and elected new officers. 

The United Way’s new officers include:

At 1:00 p.m. on Sunday May 14, the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District will  offer DIY Nature–Dandelion Salve at the Ottawa Metro Park, Miami Shelter, 2632 Ada Rd. Lima.

Bulldog baseball seeded 8th in sectional, to host Hornets

The Ada High School baseball team was seeded eighth in the 11-team Div. IV sectional/Findlay district drawing Sunday, May 7.

Ada (6-13) will host 10th seed Cory-Rawson (2-16) Tuesday, May 16 in the sectional semifinals at 5 p.m.

The Ada/C-R winner will visit two seed McComb (11-7) Thursday, May 18 at 5 p.m. in the sectional finals.

The winner advances to the district semifinals at Findlay May 24. The district finals are May 26.

The Bulldogs beat the visiting Hornets 4-1 on March 30 in the Ada home opener.
