United Way of Hardin County Board elects new officers

KENTON— At their April meeting, the Board of Directors of the United Way of Hardin County held their annual reorganization meeting and elected new officers. 

The United Way’s new officers include:

Teresa Styer, President
Angela Newland, Vice President
Jack McBride, Immediate Past President
Shannon Larrabee, Secretary

Styler comments, "I am excited to start my second year on the United Way of Hardin County Board of Directors as the Board President.  The United Way of Hardin County finds itself in a position that it has never been in before.  With the efforts of two full-time employees, the executive team expects that our branch of the United Way will be able to grow it’s campaign to higher levels than we have been able to reach in the past.  We are all excited about the possibilities and look forward to this coming campaign season."

At the April meeting the Board of Directors also voted to welcome two additional members, bringing the total number of board members to 18. These new members are Jordan Temple from Quest Federal Credit Union and Tyler Kindred from Scotts Miracle-Gro.

The United Way of Hardin County staff is currently ramping up for the 2023-2024 Annual Campaign, which has a goal of $250,000.
