Science in action - for kid's only coming to Ada

K through 3rd graders next Tuesday evening

Science in action and it’s kid’s only!

That’s the theme of a special evening for Ada Kindergarteners through third graders who have signed up in advance.

The action is from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the school cafeteria. A team of Ada teachers will be present and will guide students through activities during the evening.

According to an information sheet on the event:

“Our own Mr. Lusk along with his education students from ONU will present five engaging science centers.

“Students will travel to learn about the polar bears at the top of the world to the clouds at the top of the sky.”

Wacky Wednesday

Mrs. Etgen, Ada first grade teacher, was the Cat in the Hat in school yesterday. She poses with four first graders who dressed up in wacky clothes. It's all part of a week-long celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday. Thursday is top hat Thursday and Friday is a day to wear a shirt with words anyone can read. The next photo shows a display in the school media center.
