Zac Dysert, former Ada HS football standout, was cut from the 53-man roster of the Denver Broncos, according to various reports pick up by the Icon.
The Broncos carried quarterback Dysert on the 53-man roster last season, but this year, he’s part of the practice squad.
Dysert was cut on Aug. 30, as Denver kept just Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler as quarterbacks on the 53-man roster.
Dysert cleared waivers following his release. He spent 2013 on the active roster where he completed 12-of-18 passes for 106 yards (5.8 YPA) and a touchdown this preseason. He'll develop on the practice squad as Brock Osweiler backs up Peyton Manning.
