April 2013

“Getting More Out of Life” will be held Monday, April 8, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church sanctuary, 234 N. Main St., Kenton.

Dr. Todd Gillfillan, of Ada, a 2012 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and certified in Applied Kinesiology will be the speaker for the evening.

He will answer questions about chiropractic in a clear and concise manner.  He will share how chiropractic and the proper vitamins and supplements help individuals to get more out of life.

Here's a look at Ada's Main Street, looking south from the railroad track, in 1910. The message portion of the post card (on the flip side) reads almost like a text message of today.

Sent from Charles High of Ada to Peter Janson of Rock Creek, Ohio, the message reads:

Friend Peter,

How are you getting along this fine weather. I got home OK. How is the spring working now.

Yours truly Chas High, Ada, O.
