In September, four of the Ada FFA Chapter officers attended the Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference (OLLC), in Columbus, Ohio.
Aidra Preston, Tessa Griffith, Katelynn Metzger, and Dailah Preston were the attendees for OLLC this year.
While there, the members were put into a group with five other FFA members and they had to work together to persuade student legislators to pass a law. Before presenting to the student legislators, the student lobbyists were given a law and ten minutes to gather information about the topic to present.
While doing so, the FFA members were able to strengthen their skills in public speaking and politics. Overall, the Ada FFA officers had an excellent time attending this new event and trying something new in the form of Agriculture.
