Private Ada museum goes virtual thanks to ONU history students
Students in Russ Crawford's HIST 2771 Digital History class created a virtual museum to house images of objects that Ada resident Lee Crouse has collected over the years. Crouse began acquiring his materials during a 1995 class reunion. According to Crouse, "How this come about, I don't really know... It just kept growing. There's not hardly a week goes by that we don't find something. It's fun, and it just grows. You don't know what's out there. Some people say 'You got everything?'" Crouse answered, "Apparently not."
In addition to Crouse's items, students also added images of artifacts that the HIST 2901 ONU at 150 class taught by Crawford and David Strittmatter for the university's sesquicentennial in 2021.
