ONU women’s team ranked 9th in nation
The Ohio Northern women's outdoor track and field team remained in the top-10 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) pre-championship power rankings, released on Monday afternoon.
The Polar Bears are ranked in the top-10 for the seventh time in eight weekly editions of the rankings.
ONU received 91.16 points in the rankings, while Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Cal.) is ranked No. 1 with 125.05 points, Williams (Mass.) was ranked second with 114.66 points and UMass Boston rounded out the top-3 with 112.95 points.
Six women will represent the Polar Bears this weekend as they compete in the 2018 Outdoor NCAA Div. III National Championships in La Crosse, Wis.
