DELPHOS - Ada senior shortstop Aaron Everhart was named first team All-Northwest Conference for baseball in voting conducted by the league coaches Monday night at Delphos.
Over 20 games in 2018, the versatile Everhart led the Bulldogs in several categories. He paced the team with a .500 batting average, and also led in stolen bases (28), hits (24) and runs scored (18). He topped Ada in on-base pct. (.613) as well.
Everhart added a dozen walks, four doubles, a triple and seven runs batted in.
For his Bulldog career, Everhart collected 95 hits and amassed a fine .413 batting average. He scored 69 runs, stole 88 bases and compiled 43 RBI.
Everhart also drew 35 career walks and compiled a .581 on-base pct. He will attend Ohio Northern University and play football in the fall.
Ada finished 5-15 overall and 1-7 in 2018 NWC play. The Bulldogs ended up in a three-way tie for seventh place in the nine-team league with Columbus Grove and Bluffton. Ada defeated Grove for its lone league win.
Lincolnview, Crestview and Delphos Jefferson tied for the league crown at 7-1.
