Bullimore garners OAC honor again
Amy Bullimore garners OAC honor again, may surpass Morgan (Dumbaugh) Bass of Ada in scoring record
For the second consecutive week, senior Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Bullimore guided Northern (14-1 overall, 8-0 OAC) to its 13th and 14th consecutive victories, averaging a double-double during the week.
In a 61-55 overtime victory over Baldwin Wallace, Bullimore tallied a game-best 22 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.
She followed that performance up with a 19-point and nine rebound contest as Northern rallied from 11 points down at halftime to defeat Muskingum 73-66 in New Concord.
The senior is now three points shy of tying former Polar Bear Morgan (Dumbaugh) Bass to become ONU's all-time leading scorer. She is also only 30 rebounds shy of becoming ONU's all-time leading rebounder.
Northern returns to action on Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm as it travels to Heidelberg to take on the Student Princes.
