Local art exhibit
ONU senior Leah Casey won the Bruce Chesser Award for ceramics at this year's ArtSpace/Lima annual juried exhibit. The award is named in honor of Prof. Chesser, retired faculty member who specializes in ceramics.
Leah, originally from Seville, Ohio, is pursing a B.F.A. degree in studio arts with a 3D concentration, an option in art therapy, and a B.S. degree in psychology. She is a member of the Arts and Sciences Student Advisory Council and president of the Kappa Pi art honorary.
The exhibit, which is free, runs through June 3 at 65 Town Square in Lima. It is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
