The Ada Public Library was recently the recipient of art work donated by Ohio Northern University student, Abby Brown.
Brown, (Majoring in Advertising Design, Minoring in Marketing) created a literary alphabet--which now hangs in the Ada Public Library's Reading Room--in Professor Melissa Eddings Mancuso's Art 3301 Screenprinting.
The "Alphabet Project," assigned by Eddings Mancuso was an assignment designed to have students create 26 individual pieces that fit within one theme; in Brown's case it was a literary theme. According to Brown, she is, "passionate about reading," and had enough concepts to carry the project--all characters and authors portrayed in the 26 screenprints are either from books Brown has enjoyed, or authors she has read and loved.
Stop by the Ada Public Library anytime during open hours to view this wonderful display of art!
