Cash mob at Carol Slane Florist 3-5 p.m. Tuesday
The secret’s out. The Buy Ada First Committee, planning the community’s fourth cash mob, this week announced the location of the event.
The cash mob takes place at one of Ada’s prominent retail businesses, Carol Slane Florist, 410 S. Main St., Ada, from 3 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17.
“Shannan Brown welcomed our invitation to host this event,” said Heather Cox, member of the committee. “We hope to continue more cash mobs in Ada in the future.”
Cox said that to make the cash mob even more inviting to customers, Carol Slane Florist will offer 20% percent off of items (excluding wire orders) and $25 per dozen roses 3 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 17. Drawing more attention to the mob, the Buy Ada First Committee will be handing out information on the benefits of buying local.
About Carol Slane Florist
Carol Slane, owner and founder of Carol Slane Florist, opened the doors to the community of Ada in February of 1986, with the desire to provide a high quality product and the best service available.
Fresh flowers and silk arrangements designed with style were the priority of the business. Over the years as the business grew, many other products and services were added to better serve the community. In 1998, Carol's daughter, Shannan Brown, became the new owner of the flower shop.
Her vision and focus for the shop was to maintain the integrity and standards that have made this growing business successful over the years. She and her staff are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements, backed by service that is friendly and prompt.
