Village Voice: Ada tradition will be all around us this weekend!
Beginning on Thursday, the Lincoln Highway Buy Way will once again be visible in and around town. The annual community wide garage sales will be continuing through Saturday, and maps of pre-registered sales are available in the Village Offices and throughout town.
Be a part of the 100th anniversary celebration of the Lincoln Highway by visiting the sales! Ada CIC and Ada Area Chamber of Commerce will again have a daily information tent on Main Street in front of the Railroad Park – stop by to pick up a map, and shop the Ada historic items!
Tradition continues on Friday and Saturday with the 100th anniversary of the Farmers and Merchants Picnic. Highlights include tractor pulls, entertainment stage, crowning of the little princess and prince, and the parade! Visit War Memorial Park for the festivities!
The Ada Municipal Swimming Pool is scheduled to be open for the festivities on Saturday at 1:00 pm. In keeping with the celebrating, admission to the pool will be reduced from $3 to $1. Pool passes are not eligible on Saturday, so pack your dollar with your swim gear!
