The October 17 meeting of the Ada Community Improvement Corporation was attended by seven committee members who made reports on Industrial, Commercial, Water Resource Plan and Community developments.

Old Business
President and trustee Jamie Hall provided background information on Water Resource Account Funds which have some $13K that are in excess of the original project’s needs and have been untouched for several years. Hall proposed creating a Brown Water Protection committee as required by the EPA and giving the CIC the opportunity to support new groundwater and aquifer protection projects. He will create a written motion for the December 18 meeting.

New Business
Hall announced that the organization will need to plan for the selection of a new CIC president for 2025 with his pending retirement in July 2025.
