AHS golfers lose to Musketeers, 186-211

BLUFFTON – The Ada High School varsity boys golf team lost a dual match to non-league foe Fort Jennings Tuesday, August 6, at the Bluffton Golf Course.
The Musketeers defeated the Bulldogs, 186-211.
The Bulldogs were paced by senior Ethan Lawrence, who shot a nine-hole score of 46 to end up third individually in the match.
Sophomore Brody Rister carded a score of 49 to come in fifth overall among the 11 golfers. Junior Sam Crawford posted a 55.
Sophomore Lawson Klingler registered a round of 61 as the fourth Ada scorer.
Freshman Grady Morgan shot an 81.
Musketeers Dylan Tumlinson and Braden Knippen each shot a 44 on the par-36 course to share match medalist honors.
The Bulldog linksters (0-1) visit McComb Monday, August 12 at the Hillcrest Golf Club in Findlay.
