Retirement open house for OSU Extension educator Mark Badertscher

Mark Badertscher, the Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator for OSU Extension in Hardin County, recently announced that he is retiring at the end of June. Badertscher spent over 11 years as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator and has another 26 years of experience teaching agriculture and serving as an FFA Advisor.
After a combined 37 years in public education, Mark wants to thank his colleagues and his community for their support. He also thanks them for supporting his events and projects over the years. Mark’s final day with OSU Extension is June 30. The University will be hiring another educator to fill the position.

An Open House celebration is being held at the OSU Extension Office in Hardin County, located at 1021 W. Lima St., Suite 103 in Kenton, from 12 p.m.-4:30 p.m. on June 27. Those wishing to stop by to send him off and wish him well are welcome to attend. You may RSVP to Kelsey Garmon by calling the office at 419-674-2297.
