Ada High School will honor the graduating class of 2024 on Sunday, May 26, at 2:00 pm in the high school gymnasium.
At the Senior Honor Awards ceremony on May 13, it was announced that Autumn Andreasen, Dakota Gossman, Brayden Hunsicker, Abid Khan, Ashlyn Madison, Ella Marshall and Josie Phillips have earned the honor of Valedictorian. Jackson Brown has earned the honor of Salutatorian.
Below are listed the 2024 Valedictorians and Salutatorian with their post-graduation plans, high school activities and awards, followed by 20 students receiving scholarships.
Autumn Andreasen, daughter of Mark and Kim Andreasen, plans to attend Evangel University to major in Early Childhood Education. High school activities have included: yearbook, volleyball, swimming, basketball, junior and senior class officer, fellowship of christian athletes, Big Brother Big Sister program, Ada Mental Health Alliance, student council, DOGS volunteer, film club, varsity singers and National Honor Society. Dakota Gossman, son of Katie and Matthew Gossman, plans to attend Bowling Green State University to major in Chemistry with a minor in Physics. High school activities have included: marching band, varsity singers, student council, soccer, track, quiz bowl, musical, film club, dungeons and dragons club, pep band, spring fever follies and National Honor Society. Brayden Hunsicker, son of Jamie Hunsicker and Shawn Hunsicker, plans to attend Ohio Northern University to major in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Robotics. High school activities have included: soccer, track, marching band, concert band, pep band, varsity singers, film club, dungeons and dragons club and National Honor Society.
