The Ada Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) will hold its first meeting of the year and elect officers on January 24, 2024. The public is welcome and invited to attend meetings which are held in the Ada Historical Depot beginning at 12:00 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of designated months.
Members and guests are welcome to bring lunch with them.
Membership is open to anyone interested in working with others to make Ada the best place to live and work. Annual membership dues are $25, and members are always welcome to contribute more.
Ada CIC functions as one committee of the whole membership, but also has four subcommittees which report to the membership at the regular meetings. Each committee is chaired by a CIC member.

2024 COMMITTEES AND CHAIRS
Industrial, Jamie Hall, chair - Oversee, recommend and develop a profile of the Industrial Park. Work with the Village, county and state to see that all websites have current maps of available ground and all utilities and services.
Water Resource Plan, Dave Retterer, chair- Provide sound information to everyone in Hardin County on the importance of protecting our groundwater and prepare presentations for groups and area schools. Continue to work on the plan.
Community, Lindsay Walden Holler, chair - Look at Ada, both in and out of the box, for ways to continue improvements in Ada, including collaborative efforts among Ada, ONU, Ada Schools, Industrial Park, Commercial District, Park Board, and other organizations. Record historical activities within the Village. Specific committee projects include Ada Safe Routes to School Team.
Commercial, Deb Curlis, chair - Work with Chamber and local businesses for growth and longevity. Recommends to CIC ideas to help achieve these goals.
