- Jelly or jam, plastic jars preferred
- canned stew
- canned meat like tuna or chicken
- canned baked beans
- canned kidney beans
- dry pasta
- baking supplies like muffin mix
- canned pineapple
- box meals (like Hamburger Helper)
- ramen noodles
- canned soup, other than tomato and chicken noodle
