Pie eating contest announced by Ada Historical Society
The Ada Historical Society is hosting a pie eating contest at the August 12 Farmers & Merchants picnic.
Organizers announce on Facebook: "We are hosting the contest to bring back a nostalgic & historical game to the picnic. There will be 5 contestants, with representatives from several local village departments, competing. The winner even, ironically enough, gets a FREE trial gym membership!
"The contest will be held on the main pavilion stage, at approximately 2 o'clock. The pies will be delicious pudding pies!
"If you are interested in representing your local club, group, business, school, or department, (or would like to nominate a contestant!) please do connect with me, or another member of the AHS.
"Thank you!
