AHS baseball: Bulldogs downed by McComb

The Ada High School baseball team lost 16-3 to visiting McComb in a non-league contest on a damp and gray Tuesday evening, April 5, at Ada's War Memorial Park.
The Bulldogs trailed 3-1 after the first frame and 5-1 after two innings.
McComb stretched its lead with five runs in the fourth. Ada answered with two runs, but then the Panthers pushed across six more scores in the fifth to provide the run-rule margin.
The Bulldog record dropped to 2-2 with the defeat.

The Bulldogs visit Perry (6-1) Wednesday.
Ada plays its league opener Thursday, April 7 at defending NWC champion Lincolnview (1-3).
