Ada Kiwanis Club thanks Kewpee family for donation
Members of the Ada Kiwanis Club met on April 9 at the Kewpee, in Lima to thank Harry, Myrna and Scott Shutt for their assistance at the recently held 61st annual Pancake and Sausage Day.
Club President Myrna McCurdy formally thanked the Shutt’s for the generous donation. She noted the success of previous years and noted that sponsorships were begun in 2007.
Beginning in that year, the profits from the project have increased significantly. Kewpee owner Harry Shutt said he is glad to be able to help the club as they do their best to improve the Ada community.
The club presented the Shutts a token of appreciation. The Ada Kiwanis Club meets each Tuesday at noon in McIntosh Center, ONU. Guests are always welcome. For more information, visit the club’s web site at www.onu.edu.
