Assistance available for seniors in need of groceries
The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce sent the following notice to its members and it is shared on the Icon:
My heart goes out to everyone in our Ada / Hardin county area.
I have numbers for unemployment sign ups, liquor buy backs, emergency business loans, and virus hot line.
I have spoke to the county health department as well as some of you with business questions. Please contact me directly if you need any of this information.
We have many seniors panicking right now. If you know of anyone running low on food, have them call 419-558-1015. Beatitudes is closed, but the phones are being forwarded to either Rob Kanzig or Deb Curlis. We will do home delivery when needed.
I encourage everyone to buy here in Ada as much as possible. Check on your neighbors to see if they need anything. Send a card to a nursing home friend that can no longer have visitors.
Prayers to everyone to keep you and your families safe from the virus.
- Deb Curlis, Director of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce
