A night in the fairy tale forest
Ada elementary presents “A Night in the Fairy Tale Forest” later this month. The deadline to reserve admission to the event is this week. The event is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21, in the school cafeteria.

Here’s what the evening involves:
Parents and student guardians will join classroom teachers in their rooms to learn about “A Day in the Life” of elementary students and the grade level expectations for this school year.
Members of the school administrative team will attend a third grade meeting to talk about the third grade reading guarantee.
While parents are in their own sessions, the elementary gym will have many fairy tale literacy activities.
These includes “fairy tale residents” librarians, reading specialists and Meri Skilliter, Ada superintendent as a special guest.
The schedule follows:
6:30-6:45 p.m. – Arrival and welcome in the cafeteria
6:45-7:25 p.m. – Parents move to designated classrooms for “A day in the life
7:25-7:30 p.m. – Pick up your child in the elementary gym
