ARLINGTON - The Ada boys golf team competed in the 13-team Div. III sectional tournament at Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Arlington Thursday.

Ada finished 12th with a score of 409 strokes. Van Buren won the team title with 318 strokes, followed by USV (337) and Columbus Grove (352).

Allen East came in sixth with 366 strokes.

Bulldog junior Ethan Hull posted the best 18-hole Ada score, coming in 26th with a 93. Sophomore teammate Brevin Sizemore ended up 46th with a round of 102.

Senior Austin Amburgey posted a 105 score to come in 55th. Junior Alex Morgan came in 57th with a score of 109. Senior Rob Allison tallied a 122 to finish 62nd.

VB's Connor Ohlrich and Brady Hipsher of USV tied for first place with 18-hole scores of 75.

Mustang Carter Frey qualified as an individual for districts by finishing 12th with a score of 87.

The top three teams and top three individuals not on a qualifying team advance to the Div. III district event at Stone Ridge Golf Course on Thursday, October 4.
