Powder puff
Each year Ada has a Powder Puff football game pitting the AHS freshmen and sophomore girls against the juniors and seniors. Quarterbacks were Morgan Swick (left), a senior, and Miranda Wills, a sophomore. A Wilson made-in-Ada football was used, of course. Proceeds from the $2 ticket sales go toward prom expenses.

• “Macho, macho man,” say the lyrics to the 1978 disco song by The Village People. Or, otherwise. Guys from the Ada School dressed “otherwise” with wigs and stuffing to be cheerleaders for the powder puff football game Sunday evening at War Memorial Stadium. From left are: Isaac Spar, Alex Morgan, Reece Evans, Tyler Jameson, Daniel Nash, Brice Ferguson, and Ethan Hull.
• Not bad as a first attempt at being cheerleaders.
