Ohio Northern’s Family Day drew several hundred parents and siblings to campus on Saturday.
One of the events was Bright Pink 5K Race for the Cure. Sixty-five runners participated. Their goal: raise $750 for the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer. Kappa Epsilon, the student society of health-system pharmacists, and Zeta Tau Alpha, a social sorority, sponsored the race.
Other ONU Family Day activities included a fine arts exhibit, inflatables on the Tundra, and a tailgate.
There were several home sports contests. The football team beat Wilmington to remain undefeated this year. A comedian performed in the evening in McIntosh Center.
And, Saturday was a beautiful day for students to take their parents downtown for Harvest and Herb Fest.
