Karin Alba, Staff, Ada Public Library

Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie is Karin Alba’s favorite book. It is the only novel ever to win all three of the prestigious science fiction awards---the Hugo, Nebula and Arthur C. Clarke awards.

Ancillary Justice is the first book in a bestselling trilogy about a soldier (Breq) yearning to complete a quest, enduring treachery and burning for vengeance. Karin shares, “It is very well written, has an exciting and novel plot, and I appreciate reading about a gender-neutral being.” Karin shares that this novel “is science fiction at its best.”
