A Gospel Praise Gathering was held at Ada War Memorial Park on Saturday with the audience finding shade under the tall trees near the bandshell on an extra warm  evening. Several groups performed Christian music. Leading off was Second Chance (pictured) with Gary Collins of Cairo on the guitar and Buddy Van of Lima on keyboard. This duo sings Southern Gospel. They and a dozen other groups are lined up for another Gospel Praise Gathering to be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Ada Church of Christ Disciples, 316 S. Main. (Monty Siekerman photo)
