School's out for the summer. Monty Siekerman captured some scenes that tell the story.
• Courtney McLaughlin (left) high fives Bella East as they exit Ada Schools on Tuesday. Both will be sophomores in the fall.
• "Smile for Grandma." Vickie Gillen snaps a photo of her grandkids on Tuesday. This fall, Emily Thaxton will be in 1st grade, Jacob in 9th grade, and Josh in 4th grade.
• School's out. At 1:30 p.m. Tuesday the 2016-17 school year ended...and Salim Bogais jumps for joy. He'll be in the third grade this fall at the Ada Schools.
