The Alger Public Library has scheduled several events for all ages during the month of March.
Children in grades 1-5 are invited to Tune-In Tuesdays at 4 p.m. Please note the earlier time. Activities include crafts, games, special guests, and sometimes snacks. During a program on March 14, children will participate in a coding activity using Ozobots, the world’s smallest smart robot. Ozobots are small, smart toy robots that empower gamers and learners to code, play, create, and connect the physical and digital worlds.
On Thursdays students of all ages can receive Homework Help from 4:15 until 6 p.m.
Adult Coloring and B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Craft) is scheduled for Thursday, March 9, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Patrons may bring another craft, such as knitting or crocheting.
On Tuesday, March 21, the library will host a free Family Movie Night from 6 until 7:30 p.m. This month’s feature is a new release animated Disney DVD about a young Polynesian girl on a thrilling adventure.
There will be no preschool Story Times in March but they will resume in April.
