Wrestling ranks No. 10 in Brute-NWCA Division III Preseason poll; Kwiat, Jones, Raber ranked individually

The Ohio Northern wrestling team is ranked No. 10 in the Brute-National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Preseason poll for the 2012-13 season.
The Polar Bears, under 25th-year head coach Ron Beaschler, are the only Ohio Athletic Conference team in the poll, which ranks the top 30 teams in the country.
Individually, three ONU wrestlers are ranked in the top 10 of their respective weight classes.
Senior defending national champion and three-time All-American Kyle Kwiat is ranked No. 1 at 174 pounds, senior NCAA qualifier and defending OAC champion Jeremy Jones is ranked No. 5 at 133 pounds and senior Kyle Raber is ranked No. 10 at 184 pounds.
Ohio Northern will open its season Nov. 17 at the Olivet (Mich.) Duals and will open the home portion of its schedule with the 32nd annual ONU Invitational on Dec. 1 at the ONU Sports Center.
