Blanchard Valley Health Systems service of remembrance April 22
The 11th annual BVHS Service of Remembrance will be held at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 120 W. Sandusky Street in Findlay on Sunday, April 22, at 2 p.m.
The non-denominational memorial service will honor BVHS patients and residents who died in 2011. All are welcome to attend the service, which will be followed by a reception.
“Each year, we ask the community to join us as we remember the people we have been privileged to care for throughout Blanchard Valley Health System,” said Scott Malaney, BVHS President and CEO. “These patients, residents and their families have allowed us to share their lives at very sacred times. This is an opportunity for us to remember their lives and our relationships with them."
This is the 11th year that the service has commemorated the lives of patients and residents cared for throughout Blanchard Valley Health System, including Bridge Home Health and Hospice, Birchaven Retirement Village, Blanchard Valley Hospital, Bluffton Hospital, Independence House and Sunrise Assisted Living.
The service allows families, friends and community members to remember and express gratitude for the lives of the people they have loved. It is also an opportunity for BVHS associates, administrators and physicians to remember the patients and families they have had the privilege to meet and care for.
