Lots of events going on now at Ada schools
Here's the latest news from the Ada schools:
LANGUAGE CLUB: There will be a Language Club meeting Thursday, Sept. 27 after school in the French room. We will be electing officers and sharing program ideas for the year. Any high school student in French or Spanish class is welcome. Please see Mrs. Davis or Mrs. Davis if you are interested but unable to attend the first meeting or if you have any questions.
JUNIORS: Remember PSAT registration is due by Friday, Sept. 28. You need to turn in your registration form along with a check for $14 if you want to take the PSAT on Oct. 17.
ATTENTION GRADES 7 and 8: The Ada High School Cheerleaders are holding a football cheerleading clinic in October. Stop by the high school office to pick up registration forms. Money and registration is due Oct. 1.
HOMECOMING TICKETS: for this year’s Homecoming dance will be on sale Monday, Oct. 1. Single tickets are $8 and couples are $15 and will be on sale during lunch. Don’t forget that school fees must be paid (or partial payment made) in order to attend. Guest forms are also due Friday.
BOOK CLUB: This month’s Book Club will be reading Ashfall by Mike Mullin. See Mrs. Smith to be added to the waiting list for this title. Mr. Mullin will be here on Oct. 16 for an author visit and speaking to all senior high. Students as well as the Geology class. Books will be available to purchase on the day of our author visit or see Mrs. Smith for your chance to win a copy to be signed.
PRESALE TICKETS: There are presale tickets available in the high school office for Friday’s varsity football game at Paulding. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $5 and student tickets are $4. All tickets at the game will be $6.
