Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs offers two February workshops covering the basics of websites.
The sessions are part of BCE’s HOW (Hands-on Workshop) series.
Ohio Northern University graduate Ryan Lowry of Bluffton leads the workshops offered on two dates. Workshops are Friday, Feb.19, and Friday, Feb. 26, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the BCE office, 110 S. Main St., Bluffton.
Both workshops cover the same information. These are offered on different dates to accommodate more participants.
Lowry said that the workshop cover the basics of websites. That includes what you need to get started, what type of content to include, measuring and identifying your traffic and sources, and how to build a site for a mobile society.
A local web developer, Lowry has been creating and maintaining websites for the past 10 years. His sites include eCommerce stores, news sites, employee intranets, and small business websites.
There is a limit of four persons per session. The cost is $20 per person. You may registered using Doodle at http://doodle.com/poll/4xe7yzwaiw5n68x6 or contact Aphaphanh Nussbaum at BCE [email protected].
Lowry will provide an overview of the workshops at Friday’s Bluffton chamber breakfast.
In January, BCE offered workshops by Paula Scott on Improving Online Visibility. Persons interested in a follow-up on the HOW may contact Scott at [email protected]
