C-SPAN Campaign 2012 bus will stop in Ada Oct. 3

The C-SPAN Campaign 2012 Bus will make a stop at Ohio Northern University as part of its “Road to the White House” tour on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. The bus will be parked between The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration and the Hill Building.

The Campaign 2012 bus is designed to provide an interactive, self-guided multimedia experience demonstrating C-SPAN’s offerings and unique campaign coverage. Individuals are encouraged to stop by and view the state-of-the-art C-SPAN bus, which features an interactive, educational experience with the goal of providing resources to enhance thought and discussion of government and public affairs.

Interested parties can use the touchscreen technology, ask questions, have the opportunity to be on camera, learn how C-SPAN works and earn give-a-ways. The bus also is equipped with a Smartboard and presentation area for discussions on the video library, C-SPAN classroom and other topics.

Launched in August 2011, the C-SPAN bus attends events across the country and has visited book festivals, education conferences, colleges and political gatherings. The C-SPAN bus program began in 1993 with the C-SPAN School Bus.
