Vicki’s Music Studio, operated by Vicki Mills, is offering free preview classes for parents and their children on Saturday, Aug. 25. Using the Musikgarten curriculum, Mills will guide families through a variety of songs, dances, and instrument playing that prepares the foundation for musical and extra-musical learning.
Preview class times are 9 a.m. for babies – 4 year olds; 10 a.m. for 4 ½ - 6 year olds; and at 11 a.m. for group keyboard (6 ½ - 9 year olds). Each class will involve both children and parent in activities appropriate for that age group, as well as a curriculum overview. The preview class size is limited and pre-registration is required. The sessions will be held at Ohio Northern University, Presser Hall, room 313. Fall semester begins Saturday, Sept. 22. For the preview class and/or fall registration, please contact Mills at www.vickismusicstudio.com or 419-679-8259.
