ReStore gave out $11,560 in meals last year
Brrr. It's cold!
If you you can't come into ReStore because of the weather, ReStore will come to you - with it's winter newsletter. (It's an attachment at the bottom of this story.)
Here's some interesting ReStore stats:
• In 2014, ReStore gave out $11,560.57 in meals, emergency assistance and donations.
ReStore wants to thank all the volunteers and donors who made this possible. Special gratitude to the Western Methodist Conference, for providing $2,000; Steve Eaton and his partner, for donating services to the ReStore auction, which raised $700; and Imperial Cup for paper goods.
• In 2015, ReStore will for grants to redo its floor: eliminating bumps and making it safe, especially for seniors.
• And, it continues to need volunteers, especially a treasurer, volunteer drivers to take overflow donations to Kenton, and staffers for the annual tax clinic (training provided).
Contact ReStore to get involved.
And: some breaking news:
• Starting March 1, clothing bag sales will go up to $5 per bag
• Beginning on April 4, ReStore will be open on Saturdays.
