Businesses included an art studio, bookstore, clothing store, tailor, newspaper, coal dealer, photographer, millinery owner, barber, clothier, furniture dealer and a bicycle repair shop.
The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce will meet at 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, at Community Health Professions, 1200 S. Main St.
"We will be voting on a interim vice president and one board member," said Deb Curlis, interim chamber director.
Persons with an interest in either position may contact Curlis.
Curlis, marketing/volunteer coodinator for Community Health Professionals, was named interim director of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, in May. Matt Brown, who had held the position, resigned due to a new position he accepted working with the Duff Companies, located in Huntsville.

Thelma Risner Fleming, 62, died at 2:09 p.m. June 12, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born Oct. 12, 1949, in Hardin County to Edward “Bill” and Elsie Nichols Risner. Her father survives in Alger. Her mother preceded her in death. On Jan. 30, 1970, she married Larry D. Fleming, who survives in Ada.
Mrs. Fleming retired from private home health care.
