Ada Seniors meet Nov. 13 at Community Health Professionals

The Ada Senior Citizens meeting to be held Wednesday, Nov. 13. A covered dish at meal takes place at noon and musical entertainment is by Boe Sloan. 

The meeting is at the Community Health Professionals building, 1200 South Main St.

College of Law presents speech for veteran, sexual assault survivor

Kori Cioca, a coast guard veteran and sexual assault survivor, will be the guest speaker at an Ohio Northern University Law Career Services Brown Bag Brief in the Celebrezze Moot Court Room on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 11:30 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided.

Cioca, a U.S. Coast guard veteran, was sexually assaulted and raped while serving in the military. She was the lead witness in a landmark lawsuit that attempted to bring awareness about sexual assault in the military and to ensure safety for active-duty service members.
