ATV accident takes life of driver

Jeremy Imes was killed in an ATV accident near his home southeast of Ada on Monday night.

Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash, according to the sheriff's report.

The crash occurred in a woods at the residence, 4597 State Route 701. Deputies believe Imes was driving the vehicle on a trail and struck a downed tree, which caused the ATV to flip over on top of him.

The sheriff's office was called just after midnight on Tuesday. Imes was deceased when officers arrived.

Single-vehicle accident claims life of Alger resident

An Alger man was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash according to the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

Terry L. Hattery, 70, of Alger, was driving a pickup truck at 6:40 p.m. west on state Route 309 near County Road 115 when he drove off the north side of the road and struck a tree.

Hattery was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's report.

The crash remained under investigation Wednesday

Ada police investigating several car break-ins

The Ada Police Department Facebook posted the following message earlier this evening:

S.A.F.E.R. Alert (Seeking Aid From Every Resident): The Ada Police Department is actively investigating several car break-ins, especially in the very early morning hours. A subject has been observed recently, described as a stocky build, approximately 5'8", white male.

Friday accident: Life Flight takes one injured person to St. Vincent's

Details are now available concerning Friday's Interstate 75 accident north of Ada near State Route 235, according to information from the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol.

Bluffton police, fire and EMS assisted the patrol at the crash scene.

According to the Patrol: A Utah man suffered life-threatening injuries in a three-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer on northbound Interstate 75, near the Ohio 235 exit.

Suspect caught in Keith's Hardware theft

A suspect has been apprehended in the recent theft at Keith's Hardware, according to Michael Harnishfeger, Ada police chief.

Update on S.A.F.E.R. Alert for Keith's Hardware.
The Hispanic male has been identified and is currently in custody in Wyandot County on an unrelated Burglary charge.
