A major goal of the Village’s water department is to be able to obtain an actual reading of water meter usage each and every month. Using an actual read each month helps both the consumer and the Village better budget and track water usage.
Our ordinances do allow for the Village to use estimated readings for billing under certain circumstances.
Community Health Professionals home health and hospice recently honored 82 employees with 10 or more years of service to the organization’s three affiliated nonprofit corporations and 12 offices in Northwest and West Central Ohio.
Two Ada employees were among those recognized. They are Carrie Slone, personal care aide – Ada; and Claudia Crawford, RN, nursing supervisor – Ada.

Like to watch the sky at night? Here are five opportunities this winter and spring to participate in special nighttime programs at the Ohio Northern University Astronomy Observatory sponsored by the ONU Astronomy Club, according to Dr. Jason Pinkney, ONU Department of Physics and Astronomy, and observatory manager.
All programs are from 8 to 10 p.m., are open to the public, and are dependant upon weather conditions.
The Ohio Northern University Department of Theatre presents the 11th International Play Festival in the Stambaugh Studio Theatre from Thursday, Feb. 19, to Saturday, Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m. Matinee performances are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21, and Sunday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m.
