Bluffton Hospital has been recognized by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) as a top 20 hospital for patient satisfaction.
The ranking is based on data compiled by iVantage Health Analytics.

Four engineering students have been selected as University Innovation Fellows (UIF) by Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design. The Smull College of Engineering students are Jared Emerson of Lakeview, Ohio; Jeanne Graessle of Chesapeake, Va.; Daniel Musci of North Ridgeville, Ohio; and Cheyenne Raker of Columbus, Ohio.
ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team defeated Baldwin Wallace 7-2 Wednesdayat the University Tennis Courts and the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears improve to 18-4 overall and 5-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Yellow Jackets move to 6-10 overall and 2-4 in OAC play.
After the teams fought lightning delays of 34 and 46 minutes at University Courts, the match was moved indoors to the ONU Sports Center just ahead of a torrential thunderstorm just after 6 pm.

Ada Public Library received bids Thursday for its proposed addition and renovation from companies in Columbus, Sidney, and Kalida.
The board will consider choosing one or none at its next board meeting or at a specially called meeting.
The engineer's estimate of the base bid was $770,000. Base bids were:
• $770,000 from LeVeck, Columbus
• $897,000 from Westerheide Construction, Sidney
• $937,000 from Schimmoeller, Kalida
Nora Dellifield broke the Ada High School pole vault record two days in a row. She went 8'7" Tuesday at Parkway and cleared 9'0" at Ben Logan on Wednesday.
