COSI on Wheels coming the Ada elementary in December

Academic Booster looking for volunteers to assist

Thursday, Dec. 8, is one of the most fun days of the school year at Ada elementary. (There's lots of learning that takes place, too.)

Constructor for a day

Program lets ONU engineering students get close up to construction

That’s why 21 civil engineering students in Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mohti’s Structural Analysis class spent an entire day exploring job sites and talking with engineers in the field.

The Ohio Contractor Association (OCA) sponsored the “Constructor for a Day” program earlier this fall in Toledo. Students from other local universities also participated in the program.

Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving from the Bluffton Icon. Here's a Thanksgiving post card sent in 1914 from Werner Althaus, living in Toledo, to his sister, Bertha Hahn, living in Bluffton. The message is on the back of the card. Werner makes a reference about coming to Bluffton. That trip would have been on the interurban that passed down Main Street, Bluffton.
