Senior guard Seth Evans enjoyed a career-best scoring night to lead the host Ada boys basketball team past scrappy Waynesfield 71-68 in a very hard-fought contest Tuesday night. The Bulldogs snapped a six-game losing skid and improved to 3-9 with the non-league victory, while the Tigers dropped to 1-11 following the defeat.
"Evans was definitely a sparkplug; he can shoot," said Ada first-year head coach Dre White. "We knew Waynesfield would give it all they had. Give them credit, they had guys step up and make shots. They made it tough on us and attacked the offensive glass in the first half.

There is a piece of white cloth that the sun turned blue in the current exhibit at Elzay Gallery of Art. Impossible?
Emily Jay (pictured) explains that a chemical used by photographers long ago to develop pictures was applied to the white cloth, except where the stars are.
She and a student carried the cloth out into the sun, which because of the chemical, turned the white cloth blue, except for the stars which were covered to keep them white.
Emily knew this would occur because she teaches photography at ONU.
How does a blue cloth with white stars fit into the theme of the show?
Emily said the cloth looks like the ceilings of the cathedrals in Italy.

It all above board. This is a photo illustration - we've enhanced the actual photo - of a homemade snowflake created at the Ada Public Library late last week. It's actually the inside of a rather large snowflake, which was part of a snowflake art class for school students. The entire snowflake is below.
