Lynne Scott: “All of my stories are one long conversation about freedom"

On any given day Lynne Scott is probably tugging her mud boots on and heading for her Good Shepherd Boarding Kennel or donning her galaxy skull leggings to lead a Zumba class as a licensed instructor.

Lynne’s days are filled with Zumba and Zumba Gold classes, meeting clients, scheduling kennel appointments and, oh, Lynne Scott is also an author.

Craig, when did you graduate from Ada High School?
I graduated from Ada in 1994.

What activities were you in while in high school?
I was fortunate to participate in many different activities. I enjoyed band, choir, cross country, track, Varsity Singers Stage Band, Quiz Bowl, and the like. I was an active student in school.

Ada Senior Citizens meet March 26

Ada Senior Citizens will meet at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, at the Community Health Professionals Building on State Route 235.

Lynn Knoble of Premier Designs will present high-fashion jewelry and spring fashion tips.

She sais to bring your friends and see what you can do to perk up your wardrobe. Men can get gift ideas. No high pressure to buy anything.

Country-style breakfast by Alger Fest' Committee April 5

The Alger Memorial Festival Committee will hold a country-style breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 5, at the Alger Social Center.

The menu includes biscuits, sausage gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs, fried apples, sausage patties and a beverage.

A suggested donation is $7. The breakfast is all-you-can-eat (premises only). Carry out is available. Call 419-679-8460 for free local delivery.
