So many books

ONU student, Joel Luecke, checks out the books in the Ada school scholastic book fair going on this week. Luekcke, a pharmacy major from Canton, is helping out with the fair.

Friday and Saturday dinner at Mustard Seed Cafe, Bluffton

Mustard Seed Café, 562 N. Main Street, Bluffton, is open 5-8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings with a full menu which includes 7 appetizers, 8 main course items, soups, salads and house-baked desserts.  Beer and beer cocktails are available.

The feature Friday & Saturday night is CIOPPINO.  Mustard Seed Cioppino has clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, white fish and a red base.

Once upon a time in Ada this gas station filled the tanks of thirsty Ada vehicles.

Artist "mob"

Artist Boutique on Main hosted a Buy Ada First cash mob on April 8. The new business is on Main Street. Click here for a video of the cash mob.

Swimmers on your mark: Ada swim team sign-ups April 24 and May 5

Sign-ups for the Ada summer swim team will be held Thursday, April 24, and Monday, May 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ada Visiting Nurses, 4392 State Route 235, Ada.

Swimmers from ages 5 to 18 are invited. The cost is $50 per child, with a $5 credit for each additional family member. This cost includes one ad per family in the championship heat sheet.

A $10 late fee will be assessed for anyone registering after May 30. Morning practices are held Monday through Friday at the Ada pool beginning as soon as school is out, hopefully May 26.

The first meet will be June 12 and swim championships this year are July 11 and 12 at Kenton.
