For 10 years, Ada CIC and the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce have continued to sponsor the Lincoln Highway Buy –Way Yard Sale. This year is no different!

Hey, is that rain on the horizon?

It looks like rain on the horizon. During the first seven days of July the area experienced only 0.6 of an inch of precipitation. But that may change soon. Here’s the first seven days of July weather summary from Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.

Sorry, folks. The Fourth of July holiday put us behind! Here's the final "regular" photo in the Ada’s A-B-C Summer Contest.

Watch for the bonus photo later this week. Don't worry, we'll give you plenty of instructions on how to enter. Stay tuned!

Each letter is worth one point. And, the “Bonus” photo coming later this week is worth 5 points.

July 10 Lunch and Learn topic "Estate Planning"

Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main St., Ada, will hold a "Lunch and Learn" from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, July 10.

The program is "Estate Planning - Start to Finish," presented by Joe Frost, Ada Edward Jones agent.

Liberty National Bank, Ada, is the program sponsor. Participants will receive a box lunch from Northern on Main. There is no cost for the program. Donations are welcome and will go toward Community Health Professionals hospice patient care fund.
Persons interested in attending must RSVP  to 419-634-7443.
